Galfore personality type is ENFJ, the Protector. I have always thought that my mother was a fairly fierce woman, and I have adopted a sense of protectiveness towards others that is similar to hers. Before I had kids, I felt the need to hold them, protect them, and keep an eye on them, just like my mother. My mother would protect her children from any and all danger, and I would do the same for my kids. Once I had kids, however, I lost this sense of protection for them, and I felt like I was losing a piece of my mother that I never really had. Once we had kids, I realized how much she loved them and how much she did for them, and it was all an effort for her to protect us from everything, from the evil and the awfulness of the world.
My mother loves to write, although she doesn't say that much about it and when she does, it's not in a public forum. When she and my father divorced, she took it hard, and she didn't talk about it very much. It was something that she would let me know when it was time to know, but she made sure that we didn't know anything until it was time to know.
