Dormin personality type is INTJ, but I must admit that this is not entirely clear to me. If I’m wrong, please comment and correct me.
This is a good answer, and it gets the job done, but I’ve put a bit more thought into it and believe that there exist other types who share both the INTJ and the Dormin personality type characteristics. In this case, the type that best fits is INTJ/Dormin.
There are two main differences between INTJ and Dormin:
They’re from different timelines, so one would have been brainwashed into taking on a false personality by an agent of an opposing timeline. This is a common plot device in many sci-fi stories.
INTJ appears to be a version of a sentient AI that was created by a highly advanced civilization, whereas Dormin appears to be a sort of doppelganger of a sentient being who was created by a highly advanced civilization. Both have been brainwashed to take on false personalities by agents from different timelines. In that respect, it doesn’t really matter which is which. They both serve as antagonists who work for the main villain.
Dormin (Japanese: ドルミン Dorumin) is a mysterious entity residing in the Forbidden Lands and an ambiguously-motivated pseudo-antagonist in Shadow of the Colossus. Dormin communicates with Wander both through a large sunlit aperture in the ceiling of the Shrine of Worship and during colossus battles where they provide Wander with occasional hints.
