Roland Deschain personality type is ISTP, not Si, which is very important. I’m not saying that if an ISTP writes a novel it will be a success, but the fact that he writes it at all is a sign of some kind of potential. I’m not sure how much of it is actually in the book, but I do think it’s important to consider. I know that some people have written about how they are not sure if they are introverts or extroverts, but I think that’s a mistake. We are all introverts and extroverts. We are all ISTP. If we are not, then it’s because there has been some kind of damage to our personality type.
We are often told that ‘the more you can do, the less you are’. That’s true of the extrovert who does more, but it’s not true of the introvert who does less. The more you can do, the more you are.
