Def Noodles personality type is INFP, the same as mine.
I don't really mind if people are T, because I'm not really into the whole 'I'm better than you' thing. I've seen it happen before where someone says something like, "I'm an INTP! You're not!" and then goes on to say that they're better at something or that they know more about something. It's really obnoxious.
I can understand why some people get really mad when they hear the other person is T, though. They want to be the best at everything, and sometimes people get really upset when they discover their best friend isn't really the best at everything. If someone knows you're T, they probably wouldn't just say, "Oh well, you're not an INTP." They probably would start talking about all the stuff you're not good at.
I just don't see what's so bad about them knowing that you're an INFP. It's nice to know someone else who understands you!
I think the whole 'I'm an INTP!' thing gets way out of hand.
