A lot of the INFPs I know are quite sensitive, and are often disabled by their emotions. Sensitive people may choose to use their introverted intuition as a defense against threatening environments, but they often feel overwhelmed by the amount of information available to them. They may feel that they are "overwhelmed" by the world and by their emotions, and they may retreat into their introverted intuition. They may find it easier to use intuition, but they feel a great deal of pain when they do so.
I'm sure you can already see a correlation between this and Robert Anton Wilson's Cosmic Trigger.
In my book, I refer to the Cosmic Trigger as the "Kundalini Force" or "Kundalini Energy". I don't think it's wrong to call it a Cosmic Trigger, because it's not a physical phenomenon, but it could be called a Cosmic Trigger, or it could be called a Kundalini Force. A Cosmic Trigger is a type of Spirit Energy which may be activated by certain types of experiences, including psychedelics.
