I am not sure what you are talking about here. I posted my INTJ personality type on this site, and you replied with your INTP personality type. To me this means that I agree with you.
I do not think that you are the only one who thinks that the ISTP personality type is INTP. Also, I would like to point out that the ISTP personality type is very similar to the INTP personality type.
I agree with you that Jung's "four functions" are somewhat arbitrary. However, the four functions are still useful for personality typing.
I am not even sure what you are getting at by saying that INTPs are more likely to be introverted than INTJs. Are you saying that INTPs are more introverted than INTJs?

You are correct that the ISTP personality type is more likely to be introverted than the INTJ personality type. However, the ISTP is still less introverted than the INTP personality type.
