Jim Sterling (Jimquisition) personality type is ENTP, also known as the “The Thinker”.
Jim is one of my favorite personalities to debate against. He is very measured, but also very smart. He doesn’t often use his knowledge to verbally verbally attack his opponent, but rather to think about the issue and come up with the best possible solution for the situation. This is why I like debating him so much.
What I really enjoy about Jim is that he is so well-rounded. He has a wide variety of interests and a lot of experience in a lot of different areas. He has a pretty good knowledge of the gaming industry, and knows a lot about the ways of the world in general.
It’s because of this, that I have so much fun debating him. Most people have a specific way they want to talk or think about a topic, but Jim is open to a variety of ideas and approaches to a topic. He is willing to listen to the other side’s ideas, and also to try and think about why they might have said what they said, and why there might be other sides to the argument.
On a personal level, I really enjoy talking with Jim.

Prior to becoming independent in September 2014 through crowdfunding, Sterling was the review editor for Destructoid and an author for The Escapist. Their current YouTube series include "The Jimquisition", "Jimpressions", "Industry Bullshit", "Direct to Video", "Oh My Gawd Hype!", and "Commentocracy", while discontinued series include "The Videogame Show What I've Done", "Boglinwatch", "itch.io Tasty", and "Nitpick Theater".
In a video from November 2015, while talking about the polyamorous relationship options in Fallout 4, Sterling stated that they were "not a monogamous guy, nor a straight one, either." Sterling is openly pansexual and queer. In August 2020, Sterling came out as non-binary. Sterling uses they/them pronouns.
