My mother was a housewife while my father was a police officer. My mother, besides being a housewife, was also a leader of the women activists of Bangladesh during 1971. She used to travel extensively to different parts of the country, organizing people on various social issues. She was also the brain behind the establishment of Bangladesh Women’s University in Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).
My brother Abul Basher is an engineer by profession.
