History
As Neopets was first gaining traction and popularity in the mid-90s, EmiDraw was founded by Jeri and Steven. Jeri had been an artist for the past few years and wanted to further his career, and Steven wanted to learn more about art and design. The duo set out to create a site that would allow artists to draw and share their work, but also to allow aspiring artists to learn from each other and grow their skills. The site soon became popular with artists and was nominated for Best Art Gallery in the Site of the Month awards.
After a few years, the founders decided to take their site in a different direction and completely redesign it and change its name to Neopets: EmiDraw. The new site was much more popular than the original, and many users joined who had previously left because of the changes.
EmiDraw makes videos on Youtube of Storytimes, Anecdotes, among other funny and cute stories with drawings that she makes.
