I'm starting to not like this character. She's incredibly naive and immature, she's constantly turning to her mom for help and guidance, and she's not mature and responsible enough to understand that she has to do something on her own. How many times must she be told that she's beautiful before she'll start to believe it? She's so desperate for the approval of others that it's unbelievable.
I can't stand her constant whining and complaining. Her mom has done so much for her and she has such a hard time accepting it. I don't think her mom's a bad person or anything, but she doesn't know how to be a mother and she certainly isn't doing a very good job here.
I just hate this character. I'm almost done with the book and I don't want to read anymore. I'm really frustrated with her and I can't stand reading anymore of this kind of material.
