JustVidman personality type is ENFP, which is generally quiet and introverted, and an INFP can be quite shy. Therefore, I’m not sure how the much-debated ENFP vs INFP debate will pan out.
On the other hand, the author seems to believe that the extravert/introvert debate is much more pronounced in American society. The author says that INFPs are the most popular Myers-Briggs type (MBTI) in North America. This, I’m not sure about, as MBTI has been used for decades and has become a reasonably reliable diagnostic tool, so I wonder how many people take it seriously without taking the time to read the descriptions of the different types.
The author’s anecdotal evidence is interesting and well-written:
“I’ve had a few INFPs in my life, and they were always quiet and reserved, not unlike myself. They often chose to be by themselves for long periods of time. INFPs can be very spiritual and spiritual people tend to be reserved and introverted.”
