Lumpy Touch personality type is ENTP, which is one of the rarer types, and I’m not surprised it took you guys so long to identify. He’s an enneagram 9, which is where the “messy” part comes from (he has no idea what he wants to do, but he won’t let anyone else know). His whole life is like that, he’s antisocial, he’s constantly changing his mind, and he doesn’t know what he wants. He has no boundaries, he’s always trying to talk people into things (he’s really good at it, too—he has a way of making you feel like you should be doing whatever he wants you to do), and he’s just constantly looking for approval.
So here’s the thing that I think he doesn’t realize, but everyone else does. It might be hard for him to believe it since he’s so used to getting things his way, but it isn’t really about him. It’s not about Lumpy Touch at all. It’s about other people.
