It is also the most difficult to express in words. The best way to understand the function of intuition is to examine its opposite, logical thinking.
Extraverted intuition is not just a sociable or social function. It is a feeling function that leads us to seek out "truth" of some kind. For an ENTP, this means looking for answers to our problems in the world of ideas. We are more likely to look for answers in the field of science, philosophy, or politics. The answers may be found through empirical data or through pure logic. Rather than seeing these answers as "true," we are more likely to see them as "right.
