History
In the past, Sōma Yukihira was a part-time worker at his father's restaurant, whom he would often help out when he had the time. After winning the Autumn Elections in Sōma's first year, he was officially accepted into Tōtsuki Culinary Academy. During his first year, he and his father had a falling out, which culminated in Sōma quitting his job and leaving his old life behind, entering Tōtsuki. His father, impressed by his son's determination and drive to succeed in Tōtsuki, offered him a job at his restaurant, but Sōma refused, announcing that he would continue his training at Tōtsuki.
