The ISFP is the idealist, not necessarily because he or she is overly idealistic, but because that's how they view the world. They want the world to be a better place than it is.

They really do.
So, it stands to reason that an ISFP would want to change the world for the better.
And he knows he's trying to change the world for the better.
But, he's very insecure about it because he doesn't know how to do it.
He doesn't really though. He just keeps trying. He just keeps working on it. He just keeps trying to change the world for the better.
The ISFP wants to change the world. They just don't know how yet.
This is where I think he falls short. The ISFP can't even do something as simple as make an apple pie without it having the potential to change the world.
