Themes of The Blues Brothers Movie 1616 Words | 4 Pages. Introduction The Blues Brothers is a movie that brings together two characters that are very different in their personalities. It is about two brothers named Jake and Elwood Blues, who decide to form a band. Their chemistry comes out when they decide to take their music on the road to start a “drum-a-thon” tour. The movie goes on with them driving to various cities and performing their music. They even perform at the famous White House during the Carter administration, where they meet the President himself. Each of them has his own beliefs. Jake is very mature and can relate to any situation. He is very capable of thinking things through and finding solutions. Even though he can be serious at times, he always has a smile on his face. Elwood is the opposite of Jake. He is very immature and does not think before he acts.
