Storyshift! Asriel personality type is INFP, which is common for monsters, but his personality is clearly not what you'd expect from a monster, and is more like a human. He has different opinions from Chara and Asriel. Asriel, however, is a bit less... "human", and generally has the same opinions as Chara. This is why he has a hard time making decisions, the same way you would if you had conflicting opinions within yourself. I don't want to say that his personality is exactly like Chara's, because that would be kind of hard to do. He's more similar to Chara than Asriel, so they can be said to share the same personality. Asriel is very emotional, and very easily influenced by other people, especially Chara. He cares more about others than himself, and when he feels happy, he acts like a total idiot. He's also very optimistic and believes in a bright future, more so than Chara. His personality is based off of the idea that non-human monsters are more likely to feel emotions like sadness and anger than humans. This is why they feel things, but they don't show them. He is also opinionated and wants to have his own opinions.
