John Barrowman personality type is ESFP, which is the same as mine. (That's another story, though.) So I'm not surprised that he's so demonstrative and appears so much more comfortable in his own skin. He's also got a very relaxed sense of humor that I admire, even though I don't always understand it. I love it when he says something that makes me laugh, but I also like it when he's serious or thoughtful, too. Sometimes it's hard for me to keep up with my emotions, so it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who feels that way, and that he's not going to make me feel bad about it, either.
I already knew that we had a lot of things in common, but it was a pleasant surprise to be able to talk to him about his childhood, his family, and his experiences with the kids. I had a few questions about him that he was happy to answer.
What was it like growing up in Canada?
It was fabulous! I grew up in the middle of nowhere—on a farm. It was a great life. I really miss it sometimes.
