My name is Kaja and I’m a 23 year old Danish student. I’m in my last year in a Bachelor of Health and Welfare and I’m in the process of changing my major to Health and Social Care. The reason for this change is that I have been working at a local hospital in Copenhagen for the last 3 years and have come to the conclusion that I want to get a job in the social work field.
In the social work field, you get to do a lot of things, but what I enjoy the most is working with people. I have worked at a local welfare organization where I have been able to help a lot of people come to terms with their illness and learn to live a more independent life. I have also been a volunteer at a support group which helps women who have been or are going through a very difficult time in their lives. I have been able to help them get out of their shell and learn how to take control over their lives again.
I have been lucky enough to study in a university with a very strong focus on social work and mental health.
Alex Høgh Andersen is a Danish actor and photographer. He is mainly known for the role of Ivar the Boneless in the historical drama television series Vikings.
