Romy Schneider personality type is INFP, and that's why she's such a strange, strange, strange girl. She's also the only character in the film who didn't have a name of her own, she was just called "The Girl."
"She told me that the reason she was cast was that she had a similar look to Monica Bellucci, of whom she was a big fan," said Williams. "She did have a little bit of an Italian accent, even though she wasn't Italian."
Schneider really liked Williams' take on the character, so she decided to do an interview with him for an article he was writing for The New York Times. The interview was actually one of the only ones Williams did with the cast, because he was convinced they were all going to go crazy while shooting.
"I interviewed her only once, because I thought that they were going to go completely nuts," Williams said. "It didn't happen at all, but I thought it was going to, because it's a very intense experience for actors to do that sequence."
