In a recent study, researchers from the University of Toronto and University of British Columbia in Canada found that Chinese people who have a more favourable view of China have a more favourable view of China's government.
In the study, the researchers asked 351 Chinese to rate China's government as either "good" or "bad" based on a set of statements, such as: "The government should do more to help those who are poor."
In addition, they were asked to rate the country's overall image as either "positive" or "negative" based on a set of statements, such as: "The Chinese government is a good example for other countries to follow."
The researchers found that those who held a more favourable view of China's government had a more favourable view of China's overall image.
In addition, those who held a more favourable view of China were also more willing to support the Chinese government's efforts to improve the country's image.
