Born in February 1984, Mr Park immigrated to the US with his family when he was seven. After completing a post-secondary course at Nassu Community College in New York, he studied acting at the Academy for Performing Arts in Manhattan, returned to South Korea at the age of 22 with the dream of becoming an actor, and gave up permanent residency in the United States.
At the beginning, he could only work as an English lecturer because he could barely speak Korean.
In 2006, he was admitted to the Department of Radio Performing Arts at Seoul National University of the Arts. After graduation, he chose to join the army because he was not proficient in Korean at that time.
During two years in the army, he read newspaper editorials every day to correct Korean pronunciation, and learned Korean social culture from colleagues.
In 2020, he played Logan Lee and Gu Ho-dong SBS《Penthouse》 and won Best Supporting Actor in 2020 SBS Drama Awards.
