Japhet personality type is ENFJ, or extroverted, intuitive, feeling, judging. I’ve always been “the helper,” the one who makes sure everyone has everything they need, and I’ve always done that with ease. I feel like I’m the only one that knows what other people need or want; I get it instantly.
I can’t listen to the words “I don’t know” without hearing “I don’t want to.”
It was the same with writing. I could tell instantly whether I liked what I was hearing; if it felt right or not; if it felt like it belonged in my universe, or not. If it didn’t, I could just change it anytime I wanted.
I could just pull the words I didn’t want into my universe and say, “Nope. Not happening.”
And then I could just move on to what did feel right, and I wouldn’t have to listen to anything else about the person or the book. All I had to do was listen to what did feel right, and I knew exactly what to do with it.
