The idea of Steve Rogers as a character is much more interesting than the actual character.
This is not the same thing as saying Steve Rogers is not a great character. He is a very likable and inspiring character. Every time we see him in the movies, we get the impression that he is a humble and sweet man that does his best to help people.
Even when he is in the middle of a fight, he is very heroic and unyielding. He does what he thinks is right, and he tries to do the right thing. At the same time, he is not above being difficult or being mischievous. He has shown that he is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. He does have a few limits, though. He knows when to stop fighting and when to stop torturing people.
