Brandon Farris personality type is ENFP, which is the “Creative” personality type. I was also ENFP, but I don’t think it made me a better leader or an easier person to be around. The problem is, I was not doing what I was supposed to be doing as an ENFP, which was leading people. I was acting like I was an ENTJ, which is one of the other two types that are really good at leading people, the other being INTJ.
It’s all about being yourself. I think type is important, but it’s not the be-all and end-all of leadership. I’ve seen so many different types of leaders who are very similar in how they lead. They both have the same personality type. They are both disciplined, organized, goal-oriented, and so on. But they are not leading the way they are supposed to be leading. They are leading the way they are supposed to be leading. The problem is, they are not leading the way that makes them most effective. The way that makes them most effective is to be themselves at the end of the day.
