Autumn personality type is INFP, and is also associated with introversion, intuition and sensing.
The best book I have read on the INFP is “A Guide to the Feeling Type” by Rachel Carsen. Here is a quote from this book:
“…In the right hands, the INFP can be a real force to be reckoned with. They are capable of vast abstractions, they can be impassioned idealists, and they can be very articulate. Some INFPs are sensitive to others’ needs and social settings, and make excellent counselors. Others are quiet and reserved, but can be as outspoken as the most extroverted personalities. INFPs are sometimes described as shy, but this is not very accurate. Some INFPs are just reserved by nature, and may not make themselves felt unless there is a compelling reason for it.”
So, on one hand it is true that in general INFPs are quiet and reserved. But on the other hand it is not accurate to describe them only as shy. They will be comfortable to express themselves when it is needed, even if it takes much restraint. They are usually very caring, they will do everything they can to help others.
