Jay Swingler personality type is ESTP, but technically ISFJ. In high school, I was very much the opposite of my future husband. I was quiet and reserved, content to be a wallflower. Not that I didn’t have a sense of humor, but it wasn’t the kind that would make people laugh. I was a classic bookworm, preferring to read rather than socialize. I attended an all-girls school for a short time after high school, and I noticed several girls who were much more outgoing than I was. I didn’t consider myself introverted at all.
I met my future husband when we were in our early twenties. He was much more outgoing than I was, and he was an absolute charmer to boot. He was so much fun to be around, and we had a lot in common — we loved to read and draw and listen to music. We felt like we’d known each other forever when we started dating.
We dated for a year and a half and decided to get married after that year and a half.
