I’m the first to say that I have a tendancy to be a bit idealistic. It’s a big reason I tend to be a bit short-tempered with people who are not. It’s definitely a part of my personality that I have to keep in check, especially with the people I work with on a daily basis. I have to remind myself that there are some things I can’t change, and that being a perfectionist doesn’t always get you very far.
I have a tendency to get a little too wrapped up in the idea of ‘perfection’, and it causes me to get frustrated when things don’t go according to my perfect plan.
That being said, I think I have a good understanding of people. I may not always be able to get along with them, but I do tend to get along better with people who don’t know me than I do with people who do.
