So I think that I can make some conclusions. The class is diverse in terms of preferences, but the most widely spread ones are also the most "dominant". That probably means that I shouldn't be surprised by low numbers of people with strong preferences in the class, since these are usually not very popular, or they are not particularly numerous in any case.
But my mental picture of the class wasn't that different from the real one. The only thing that I was expecting was that I would have seen more "strong" preferences in the class. So I was surprised by the small number of people in the class with strong preferences. I am thinking about type strength of preferences, so I know what I am talking about. But it is true even for me.
I am not saying that this is bad. It doesn't mean that everyone should have strong preferences in all areas of life. It means that there are more diverse types than I thought at the beginning.
