So, I’m told I have a big heart, but have a hard time showing it. I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder at age 17. I’ve had 2 suicide attempts, one after my diagnosis, and one when I was 18. I’m now 32 years old, and have been diagnosed with Depersonalization Disorder. I have had several hypnotherapy sessions which have helped me through the day, but can also be very overwhelming at times. I spend a lot of time researching the disorder to see what it is that I might be able to do about it.
I’m still learning to accept my diagnosis, but at the same time learn to live with it. I’m learning that this is not my fault or something that I can “fix” or “drain”. It’s a part of me that I have to learn to accept and work with.
I’ve been married for 5 years to a wonderful man who is very supportive of me.
