Yum (ReacThing) personality type is INFJ, and this is my first and only blog post on the matter.
I think that this is a very important topic to write about, since many people don’t understand that INFJ and INTP functions are fairly similar and that there is not really much difference between these two types. I believe that it’s important to clarify this statement and to explain why I believe it.
INFJs and INTPs are different, but not in the way many people make them out to be. For one, both types are introverted and intuitive, but the way they function is quite different. The INFJ functions are:
Ni: Introverted Intuition
Ni is a complex function that I have detailed in a blog post titled “The Complexity of Introverted Intuition”. For this reason, I will not go into detail about Ni in this post, except to say that INFJs have very good intuition abilities and can be very sensitive to their environment. In fact, INFJs are often labeled as “dreamers” because they tend to have vivid dreams and sometimes have trouble remembering them.
