Calista personality type is ENFP, as I’ve outlined above, and falls into the curious camp of existentialists, encompassing such thinkers as Jean-Paul Sartre and Albert Camus. This personality type is known for its curiosity, and its tendency to continually re-explore and re-question the world around them.
Although there is no definitive set of defining characteristics of the ENFP personality type, for whatever reason, they tend to fall into the discipline of counseling. I’ve talked about counseling as a profession before, but what’s interesting about ENFPs is the fact that they almost always end up as counselors (or more specifically, counselors-in-training).
ENFPs are typically very open-minded when it comes to the idea of therapy. They are typically fascinated by the idea of therapy itself, and are not adverse to coming up with their own methods of helping others. They are very creative in their own way, which is why they often end up in art therapy, or music therapy.
Over time, ENFPs typically find that counseling isn’t the right fit for them.
