So for a while, I was able to make a pretty good living out of my tulips. I was really happy with that. Around the middle of last summer, though, I had a real blow-up with my G/F. She was complaining that I wasn't acting right, and that I should quit the tulips to focus on something else. She kept telling me that I shouldn't be so obsessed with flowers, and that I should grow some other things, since I was so good at growing tulips.
It didn't really sit well with me, so I got mad and said a bunch of stuff back to her. The whole thing was stupid, and it really hurt my feelings. I finally broke down and asked for her help, but she just kept saying that she didn't care about me anymore, and that she didn't want to be with me anymore. We went through a lot of bad times after that, things that we shouldn't have gone through.
