Jason (My ISFP Journey) personality type is ISFP, as a result of some of my deepest introverted emotions and some of my most outgoing extroverted emotions. This makes some things hard to square with the Ti world view.
In particular, some people have been led to see ISFP as a type that has a lot of Ti. However, I think that this is a misconception that has been perpetuated by a couple of things.
First, there's the fact that ISFP's are actively extroverted, and it's easy to mistake them for having a lot of extroverted thinking, which is Ti. In this case, however, ISFP is extremely introverted, so it might be more appropriate to talk about Fe instead.
Second, ISFP's have been thought of as being very interested in ideas and theories, so it might be tempting to interpret them as being Ti-dominant. However, I don't think that you can show that they have a lot of Ti just by looking at their scores on the MBTI. It's more accurate to see them as being a lot more interested in Fe than Ti.
