I have a habit of making things up.
When I’m bored I’ll come up with something just to keep myself occupied.
Looking back, I realize that a lot of these ideas have been really good, but I have trouble believing them.
In order for people to believe me, I have to see things from their perspective.
I have to understand their concerns and think about what they will be thinking about.
I have to imagine what they will say if they don’t believe me, or what they will do if they don’t believe me.
I have to imagine what they will do if they do believe me.
I have to imagine what they won’t do in the future, in the hopes that in the future, in the present, in the past, I can make them believe me.
In other words, when people don’t believe me, I need to make it so that they do.
The most important thing in life is to make people believe you.
