What is the personality type of Jordan Taylor (Blimey Cow)? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Jordan Taylor (Blimey Cow) from Psychology & Personal Development and what is the personality traits.
Jordan Taylor (Blimey Cow) personality type is ENFP, and the author of The Type Talker (Weldon Owen) is probably an INFP.
It is also interesting to note that the two most popular early twentieth-century writers of fiction for children, Lewis Carroll and J.M.Barrie, both had strong INFP traits: Carroll had a ‘child-like’ sense of wonder and whimsy and Barrie had great imagination and a comfortable feeling of being an outsider.
My own take on the links between types and creative genius is that both will benefit from a more relaxed and comfortable state of mind. Creativity can be extremely stressful for those who are highly organised and disciplined, and their type will accentuate the negative aspects of this. By relaxing and not forcing themselves, they can enter a more creative state, which seems to be the dominant personality type for writers.
The people I have discussed above may not have been consciously aware of their INFP personalities, but it is likely that their writers’ block and other problems were due to their efforts to suppress their inner world and ‘dominate’ their creativity – behaviour which would be consistent with an INFP personality.
