Alper Hasanoğlu, 1967 yılında İstanbul’da doğdu. İstanbul Erkek Lisesi’nin ardından Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi’ni bitirdi. İki yıl Çorlu Devlet Hastanesi Acil Birimi’nde pratisyen hekim olarak çalıştıktan sonra Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi’nde Fizyoloji İhtisası yaptı. Fizyoloji İhtisasında özellikle stres fizyolojisi ve epilepsi üzerinde çalıştı. Ardından İsviçre’de psikiyatri ihtisası yaptı ve Basel Üniversitesi Psikiyatri Polikliniği’nde öğretim görevlisi olarak çalıştı. Bilişsel davranışçı terapi, şema terapi, çift ve aile terapisi, afektif bozukluklar, anksiyete bozuklukları uzmanlık alanlarıdır. Almanca ve Türkçe çeşitli bilimsel kitaplarda kitap bölümleri, Türk ve yabancı bilimsel dergilerde yayımlanmış çok sayıda makalesi bulunmaktadır. Türkiye’ye döndüğü 2010 yılından beri kurmuş olduğu TherapiaGroup çatısı altında ekibiyle birlikte klinik çalışmalarına devam ediyor.
