May-Britt Moser personality type is ESFJ, but I’m a pure ENFP. I’ve been a two-year ESFJ and recently a five-month ENFP. This is a deviation from the norm, as the average ENFP is a five-month type. I’m not sure which type I am now, though—probably a mix of both.
In the opening paragraph of the book, the author describes her personality as a “hacker” and says that she has been one since childhood. She has a keen eye for patterns and a love of making connections. I definitely agree with this description, as I am a very pattern-oriented person.
I have a difficult time putting down a book I am reading, so I read this book in an intense seven-day stretch. This book is so intriguing that I couldn’t stop reading it. It’s full of interesting profiles of other people, which I found very helpful in understanding my own personality.
May-Britt Moser (born 4 January 1963) is a Norwegian psychologist and neuroscientist, who is a Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She and her then-husband shared half of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, awarded for work concerning the grid cells in the entorhinal cortex, as well as several additional space-representing cell types in the same circuit that make up the positioning system in the brain. Together with her husband she established the Moser research environment at NTNU, which they lead. Since 2012 she heads the Centre for Neural Computation.
