Charles-Augustin de Coulomb personality type is INTJ, INTP, or INFP.
But, before I go any further, I want to make it clear that these are not my personal opinions. They are the conclusions of research studies done by psychologists, who use statistical analysis to come up with their conclusions. If the research says that the majority of people with the personality type are INTP, then I think that is probably true.
I don't know if it's right, but I do know that it's interesting.
I'm also aware that there are other meanings for the letters. So, I'm not saying that all INTPs are like me, or that every INTP is like me. But I am saying that, statistically speaking, it makes sense.
The Research
Let's get to the research. The first study I want to discuss is done by Richard Feynman in his book Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! which was published in 1985. Feynman created a personality profile for every single person in the world based on how they answered questions about their personality type.
Charles-Augustin de Coulomb (14 June 1736 – 23 August 1806) was a French military engineer and physicist. He is best known as the eponymous discoverer of what is now called Coulomb's law, the description of the electrostatic force of attraction and repulsion, though he also did important work on friction. The SI unit of electric charge, the coulomb, was named in his honor in 1908.
