What’s your favorite thing about being a writer?
I love creating. I love creating stories and characters and worlds. I love making a fictional world come to life. And I love sharing my creations with others. It’s a very selfish thing to do. It’s nice when other people enjoy your work, but it’s much better when they enjoy it because they find it entertaining.
What inspired you to write? Who influenced you?
I’ve always been fascinated by stories and storytelling. From a young age, I read a lot of fantasy novels, but my favorite kind of book was the one that made me want to go out and explore the world. I love reading contemporary novels, too, but I also like reading classics. I’m very much inspired by Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, and the Brontë sisters.
