Lou Salomé personality type is INTJ, and I also have an INTJ personality type. I am also a lesbian and have been a lesbian for most of my life.
What made you a lesbian?
I was raised in a strict Catholic family where we did not question the Church’s teachings on sexuality. In fact, I was told that being a lesbian was a sin. I was taught that being a lesbian was something so wrong that God would never forgive me for thinking about it. To be honest, I don’t think I ever would have questioned it if I had never been told that being a lesbian was so bad.
When did you start questioning your sexuality?
I think when I was about 19. I watched the movie “The Crying Game” and really enjoyed the movie. I had always thought the character played by Jaye Davidson was very attractive, but for some reason, I didn’t think about her in a sexual way. Then, when she kissed that guy at the end of the movie, I felt a little flutter in my stomach. As I watched the movie, I began to realize that this was something that was unexpected and new to me.
