Seyyed Mohammad Hossein Behjat Tabrizi , mainly known by his pen name, Shahriar , was a notable Iranian Azerbaijani poet. He studied at the Dar ul-Funun medical school. Story of his failed love and his unrequited love made him dropped out just before getting his diploma and changed the course of his life and brought his inner transformations to a certain spiritual peak and gave passion to his poems. He did not marry until he was 48 years old. He was inspired by hafez & ferdowsi. His poems usually were in "Ghazal" form
