Joseph L. Goldstein personality type is ISTJ, or the “Stonewall Jackson of the Information Age” (in the wake of the great societal upheaval brought about by the dawn of the 21st century, he is a sort of a “Stonewall Jackson” of the information age). The ISTJ personality type is a rational, logical, and practical personality type that is often characterized as being the “stoic” personality type. This is a good description for an ISTJ because they are probably the most practical and down-to-earth personality type. They are generally not given to extreme emotions and they tend to be very focused on their goals.
People with the ISTJ personality type tend to have a strong sense of personal identity and do not have a great need for emotional support from others. ISTJs are often considered to be able to stand on their own two feet and not be swayed by others.
