Kasel personality type is ISFJ, so I was surprised when I discovered that my friends were all ISTJ. The ISTJ has a reputation for being the most reserved and timid of the four types. I was even more surprised to find that my ISFJ friends were just as reserved and timid as their ISTJ counterparts.
This surprised me because ISTJs are known for being very private and reserved. They keep their feelings to themselves and don’t let on how they feel about anything, including their feelings about ISTJs.
It turns out that ISTJs are very sensitive and easily hurt by others. They don’t want to bother anyone with their problems or their feelings, so they tend to keep them to themselves.
Not only this, but ISTJs tend to be very judgmental and critical of other people. It’s not uncommon for them to think that everyone is worthless and disgusting.
They tend to be very critical of themselves too, and they can’t stand to be around people who speak badly about their mistakes and failures. They feel like they shouldn’t be subjected to such negativity and would much rather ignore everything that people say about them.
