Gilles Bœuf (born November 6, 1950 in Paimbœuf) is a French biologist.
Professor at Pierre and Marie Curie University, Sorbonne University, he was President of the National Museum of Natural History from February 2009 to August 2015 and visiting professor at the Collège de France in 2013-2014, on the chair "Sustainable Development, Environment, Energy and Society" [1], [2]. He was for two years scientific advisor in the cabinet of Ségolène Royal, then Minister of State for the Environment, Energy and the Sea.
