    Their job is to infiltrate American society and monitor its activities for signs of disloyalty. They have been doing this since the days of the Cold War and have accumulated a wealth of information over the years. They spend their entire days in D.C., working for a network of other sleeper agents. Their careers are intertwined with those of their handler and mentor, Stan Beeman.
