Of course, the relationship wasn't perfect when we started out. I was in a long-term relationship with my partner's ex-girlfriend when we started dating, and I kept believing that my partner's ex-girlfriend would come back to him.

I had a hard time with the idea that my partner and his ex-girlfriend weren't meant to be together, and it caused a lot of tension between me and my partner.

I also began to question whether or not I was enough for my partner and became insecure and jealous. I didn't like the idea of my partner dating someone else, and I felt like I was losing him if he started dating someone else.

I fell into the "I'm The Joker, Baby" trap, and I began to manipulate my partner and convince him that his ex-girlfriend was coming back to him.

I told him that he was going to marry his ex-girlfriend, and I even gave him a wedding gift that was supposed to be for me, but he didn't know it was for me until later.
