Juan (Horse On Balcony) personality type is INFP, and during the course of this film he changes from a naïve child into a cynical man who is willing to kill anyone for any reason. I found it very difficult to feel sympathy for Juan at any point in the film. He is a child, and an innocent one at that, and he is the cause of all the suffering that happens to him. He is the only character I didn't like, and I honestly found his character development very hard to swallow. The idea of growing up, becoming a man, and killing people was very unsettling.
The movie is also full of symbolism, which is something I like in movies. It's a simple, yet effective way to get across a message to the audience. There is one symbol in particular that I thought was very effective: it involves Juan and his mother (who is to be his last kill). His mother is pregnant, and she is not happy about the idea. She wants Juan out of her life, but she can't do that because she is pregnant. It's very symbolic in how Juan is going to be a father, and how he is going to be responsible for someone else's life.
The movie could have been better, but I still enjoyed it.
