Ton Roosendaal personality type is ENFP, and that's why I am so fascinated by the ENFPs that I work with because I find that they have a unique and very interesting way of looking at the world and finding solutions to problems.
I can't stand ENFPs because we're just so darn happy and we just don't see the big picture because we see everything as a big win. I think that's what drives me crazy about ENFPs, is that we can't sit down and take a realistic look at the world and so we just want everything to be closer to how it is in our minds, and we won't adjust for things that are not going to work out.
The other thing about ENFPs is that we're great at discovering things, and we're great at creating things, but we're bad at doing things that don't look good. If we create something, then it has to be perfect.
So you see where I'm going with this? I think ENFPs are great at their own things, but they're really bad at keeping things together for long periods of time, and they can't tell whether something is going to work or not.
Ton Roosendaal (born 20 March 1960) is a Dutch software developer and film producer. He is known as the original creator of the open-source 3D creation suite Blender and Traces (an Amiga ray tracer which was the forerunner of Blender). He is also known as the founder and chairman of the Blender Foundation, and for pioneering large scale open-content projects. In 2007, he established the Blender Institute in Amsterdam, where he works on coordinating Blender development, publishing manuals and DVD training, and organizing 3D animation and game projects.
