I didn't really see a problem with Fatih's character. Personality wise, the "Juan" personality type is a better match for an Intj than an ENTp. I would have liked to see a bit more from him as a character, but I can accept his role as a secondary character.
I think that his role as the "mother" of the group is very important as well. It's a role she doesn't get to take on as much as she would have liked. The other characters tend to defer to her, and she has a lot of influence over the group.
